Our Accreditations
While ISO 9001 is a globally-recognized standard, it is not illegal for anyone to issue an ISO certificate—you could even create your own! However, the true value in ISO 9001 is when you have your business certified by a certification body that has been accredited by a globally recognised accreditation body.
Unfortunately, too many businesses have paid unaccredited companies to issue their certificate, only to later find that they are not accepted as evidence of certification.
Our accreditations show our auditors are qualified, well-trained and experienced to support you through your certification journey. Our accreditations also provide you with assurance that your ISO certificate will be accepted, globally.
ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB)
The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) is a non-governmental organization that provides accreditation services and training to public- and private-sector organizations, serving the global marketplace. ANAB is the largest accreditation body in North America and provides services in more than 75 countries.
Amtivo (USA), Inc. is accredited by ANAB for ISO 9001 and many other standards.
In 2024, Orion Registrar, American Systems Registrar and Advantage Registrar combined to form Amtivo in the USA, providing clients with access to experienced auditors who understand local markets but have the backing of an international network of experts and resources.
United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS)
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is the sole body appointed by the UK Government (the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) to provide accreditation to certification bodies in the UK.
This accreditation is considered to be the leader in the certification of ISO standards and the only way that an organization can use the coveted Government-endorsed national accreditation symbol—commonly referred to as the “UKAS Crown and Tick”.
Amtivo Group is accredited by UKAS for ISO 9001 and many other standards, trading as British Assessment Bureau in the UK.
Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB)
Amtivo (Ireland) Limited holds accreditation from the Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) as a management system certification body for ISO 9001 and many other standards.
In 2024, Certification Europe and EQA combined to form Amtivo in Ireland, offering a local service, backed by international expertise and resources.
